Exactly what I wanted Zoom + Calendly todo without the hassle of Zapier setup
There are some features that are still being developed but are on the road map for the next quarter, and so far from working with support giving them recommendations they’ve been fast to iterate and improve the product and the clarity of each piece.
The big things I like about this over Zoom is the very clear notification emails (zoom messages always confused clients on how to join), no software download needed, and the fact that if you do a recording it informs the attendee and are downloadable on both ends (zoom if you’re not using cloud storage you’d have to take your copy and send to clients if they wanted a copy which adds a headache).
All the missing features of Calendly and Acuity scheduling are in their roadmap and based on the few conversations with their fast support I believe they’ll have the key ones done before June 2020 and will just continue to improve. Things like unique availability for each meeting type even got moved up in their roadmap after enough requests for it hit their Trello roadmap.
The only thing for me that I find really missing so far is when I share screen to demo something to a prospect (specifically share entire screen), I can not see a PIP (picture in picture) view of their face in the corner like I could in Zoom. It seems like a minor thing but when you’re doing an online sale demo you don’t always realize how important seeing the persons face light up to key benefit talks until its missing.
