Quick purchase. Nothing to think about. Like the previous DepositPhotos deals, it is handy having lifetime credits for when images may be needed.
Searched the Yay Images platform for several keywords, and a range of suitable and appealing photos were presented. I purchased the YAYimages single plan a couple days ago. I browsed through their site a little to explore the images and see if those suited my needs (I run a science website and a science merchandise online store). I was pleased with the initial results I saw. When I visited the website later to look for specific images, the newer site was getting upgraded (to make sure it can handle all the new traffic from the Sumo-lings!), but one of their customer support agents (Grant) proactively reached out while I was trying to browse stock science images (at 2 am, mind you). He helped me reach the old website links while the site was being upgraded so that I could search and download images I wanted without interruption and patiently answered my questions. The new site was up and running within a few minutes as well, and the whole process of searching and downloading images has been smooth so far.
One thing I would recommend is to provide categories within which a user can limit their search. For instance, if I want to search science-related images but only within say, “Nature” category, right now, I couldn’t find an option to do this; I just searched the full database with both keywords together. It wasn’t a big inconvenience or anything, but having curated categories would enhance the browsing experience.

Just purchased this about fifteen minutes ago and since then have already downloaded enough photos to more than justify the purchase. I write a nature-based local area guide and it can be hard to find good photos of some of the things we write about. Since getting this I’ve found all of the photos I needed for my Canadian Lynx article and found a fawn lying in the grass, a photo I’ve been searching forever for. I prefer taking my own photos but finding quality stock photos helps save time and money which I seem to be short of these days.
