Every year, we celebrate Laplink’s anniversary. Few companies that literally started out with the birth of the PC are still around, so we like to celebrate that. Laplink is a long-time Microsoft Gold Partner. PCmover is the only software of its kind recommended by Microsoft, Intel, and all the major PC manufacturers. But as we all know, 2020 has been a different year. That means our celebration will be different as well. Receive 37% off purchases on laplink.com only and Laplink will donate 10% of proceeds from those sales to Maker Mask.
Supporting Maker Mask
Through the Microsoft Alumni Association, I learned about an interesting project launched by fellow Alum, Jonathan Roberts. Jonathan is a founding member of Maker Mask, a nonprofit based in our hometown region of Seattle. They are making a difference by creating a network of nearly 10,000 small batch production sites to manufacture NIH-approved masks using 3D printers, and delivering those masks to local communities across the U.S. & around the world. The goal is not just to address current health needs, but to be fully prepared should the need arise for possible future shortages.
They are leveraging technology and changing the world. So as Laplink turns 37, we think that supporting Maker Mask is a great idea!

“The COVID-19 pandemic is an ‘all hands on deck’ crisis and Maker Mask is thankful for the help…. [Donations] and ongoing support [are] very helpful as Maker Mask continues to focus on fulfilling its mission. We believe that it’s now more important than ever to build a global supply chain powered by community-based small batch production sites to ensure resiliency for times of crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic.”Founding Member of Maker Mask, Co-founder of nonprofit RPrime, and Founding Partner at Ignition Partners
