Watch Dogs Review at a Glance
Watch Dogs is one of the best games I have ever experienced from the high end graphics to the compelling story-line, this game is truly remarkable. The level of detail that went into this game is incredible(like giving every citizen a unique identity). Something new is hiding for you around every corner of chicago, every aspect of the game was designed very creatively (I can’t get enough of the slo-mo car crashes).
The widely promoted hacking part of the Watch Dogs game feels great, and at no time does it feel forced or tacky. The whole “I see all” mechanic really lends to the immersion in the city, with random little facts popping up when you scan nearby pedestrians and the ability to just interfere with the movement of the city eg. raising a bridge, Blowing a steam pipe, causing a blackout or stopping a train. It’s not a game changer, but it feels natural in Watch_Dogs and works itself well into the general gameplay. I would recommend all buyers to play this game with a gamepad, as it just makes the driving and movement so much easier.
The missions in this Watch Dogs game were pretty good and most of the time had an interesting idea to it, although the scheme of the missions was pretty much the same, just in different places the appeal to them would be the different opportunities you can take throughout the mission, and different playstyles you can approach it with. However through my playthroughs, I would try to do everything silently and in terms of weaponry there’s only a silenced pistol in the game, which worked fine but it just felt like I was restricted just to that gun for, well, pretty much the entire game.
Very interesting concept to base a game upon. The Watch Dogs game itself is very shiny, I only experienced a glitch with 1 mission, but where the game really shined through was where it made you felt like you were in total control of an entire town. Lifting bridges, erupting steam pipes, enabling road blockers, hacking traffic lights, all this really appealed to me. However I really wish that they had given more story-changing decisions throughout the game, it really felt like no matter what I did the story was going to be the same at the end (which it did).
Content:
Only 4 story missions in and I’m at 10 hours. The non-story content has a constant flow, you wont be walking staring at your smartphone syphoning bank accounts for long before you have to go save someone and knock out some crooks (or blow them away I won’t judge).
Driving:
This game is awesome for driving! My personal favorite POV is the cab view it makes you feel like you’re in the driver’s seat! You may have read from other reviewers that “GTA V has beter driving mechanincs than Watch_Dogs”, but I say that is rediculous! I’ve logged more than 72 hours playing GTA V (It’s a great game!), but the cars in GTA felt like every empty crevace in the car was filled with lead (At least until you got your hands on a fully souped up Supercar.), but some people fail to realize how “light” cars can be which is why they assume GTA has good car dynamics. Watch_Dogs on the other hand every car feels like a real car, which means becoming unpredicable at high speeds (Which they do.) where even the slightest bump can send you careening into a tree, or a hard break will lighten your tail. Also, you have to be careful when speeding down streets compared to GTA where you can slip between lanes of traffic like there is the equivalent of an 8 lane super highway between cars. Either way each game has its own quirks, but of the two Watch_Dogs is on this side of reality when it comes to driving mechanics and in that regard it comes down to preference.
Hacking:
Hard to describe, but it is a definite plus over other open world games and makes each person an interactable entity rather than a meat bag for you to hit with your car or shoot when you’re bored.
Stealth:
Entertaining and Challenging and works well in tandom with hacking.
Shooting:
A bit tricky with a controller, but once you get the hang of the shooting it’s very satisfying to take down opponents.

What are their users saying? Why they loved it?
Really good game. Polished as good as any game I’ve seen. True triple A game with attention to detail. Graphics, animations, sounds, ambient noises, controls, and voice-overs are top notch for it’s release date (2014). It looks like people review bombed this game not too long ago, so the 83% that it currently shows isn’t accurate…imo. I think people were/are piz’d at Ubisoft.
There are only 2 things I can think of that I didn’t like about this game.
1 – The helicopters are OP and very hard to aim at which gives me fits of rage.
2 – about 1/4 of the game isn’t available anymore. Looks like there are in-game mini games, quests and timed events that have something to do with the old Ubisoft servers for WatchDogs. These are no longer available so you can’t do them.
Other than that, very solid game. Fun to play, 40-ish hours, lots of cool stuff to do
Pickletoes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐minecraft.rulers ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Goumutra ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This game takes time and commitment if you want achieve the knowledge of other story’s and there full plot of Aiden Pearce past similar to the scene with Bruce Wayne and there parents being shot.
But this contains reputation that you must hold. You are free to move around like the same movement from GTA V but guns will lower your reputation but taking them down only by non lethal melee will level your rep up including stealthing around that concealing your rep. You are made to fight alone to get your answers as you go around.
