How does Viloud works?

First, When you log into your Viloud account, you’ll see the option to create your first TV channel. First, you can choose whether you want to make a linear or on-demand channel.

With a linear channel, you can schedule the content to repeat on a specific schedule or loop it so that it operates as a video playlist. You’re going to start with a linear channel.

Next, you can name your video and check the box to create a .m3u8 link that you can use on a 3rd party video player or platform. Then, you can pick a daily or weekly schedule for your channel.

Now, you can customize the player with a logo and link, choose the main color, and add social handles. Once you get to the scheduler, you can choose from the videos currently in your content library, or you can add in new ones.

Viloud lets you upload straight from your computer or import from a third-party source. When the videos are uploaded, you can drag and drop them into the calendar to add them to the schedule. Then, you can preview the channel in a new tab to make sure everything looks right, and it’s ready to go!

You can embed the video with custom playback and display options on your site or use the .m3u8 link to stream it on a third-party platform.

Creating a loop channel is just as easy! Just add the name, choose a start time, customize the player, and add videos to the new channel.
